GeekTools Whois?
Publisher's Descriptions
GeekTools Whois (GTWhois) is a GUI whois client that sits in your Systray and takes the drudgery out of finding the right server(s) for various country domains.

GTWhois can also query the ARIN, APNIC, RIPE and LACNIC registries for IP netblock allocations, meaning you can enter an IP address into the query dialogue and the program will return the organisation to which it has been allocated, as well as the total size of the netblock.

GeekTools is a centralized posting of helpful tools. All of the tools are capable of being used by any browser including LYNX, with minimal color (16) and minimal resolution (640 x 480), with no cookies, or Java, for internal use.

What's New in This Release:

· Double clicking the tray icon to display the query window also brings it to the front if it is hidden.
· Preferences form now contains an option to terminate the application if the query form is closed using the close window "X" button.
· Added support for whois.registro.br (reference from LACNIC)
· Queries for domains in a TLD without a valid whois server now return a more appropriate message rather than a generic one indicating that the TLD is not valid.
· Minor cosmetic fixes and whois server name changes.
